The Austrian certification system ÖGNI (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Nachhaltige Immobilienwirtschaft = Austrian Society for Sustainable Real-Estate Management) certified by the certification system of the DGNB, adapted to Austrian needs and provisions.

Like the DGNB, it assesses the following criteria:

• Ecological quality
• Economical quality
• Socio-cultural and functional quality
• Technical quality
• Process quality
• Location quality

The usage profiles are the same as in the DGNB system:

• Office and administration buildings
• Trade buildings
• Industrial buildings
• Residential buildings
• Small residential buildings
• Hotel buildings
• Educational buildings
• Healthcare buildings
• Laboratory buildings
• Mixed use
• Urban districts
• Office and administration districts

Buildings are certified silver (50%), gold (65%) or platinum (80%).
